The newly titled Dr. Emily Mesev defended her doctoral thesis on "Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Interferon Signaling". This work explored how interferons affect different cellular outcomes through a shared signaling pathway. She was then hooded at the PhD Hooding Ceremony, where Alex and Jared Toettcher, her co-mentor, hooded her to officially become Dr. Mesev. We're all so proud of you Emily!
