Welcome Melina Winkler to our lab! Melina completed her doctoral training at Twincore, the Centre for Experimental and Clinical Infection Research in Hannover, Germany. While there, she studied virus host interactions of different RNA viruses with the main focus on the species tropism of a mouse-adapted hepatitis C virus. She will continue her investigations of virus host interactions in our lab as a postdoctoral fellow – now focusing on classical flaviviruses. We’re happy to have you here, Melina, and to see all the work that you will accomplish!
