This month, we bid a bittersweet farewell to Dr. Qiang Ding, who has accepted a faculty position at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Qiang was a post-doc in the Ploss Lab from 2014-2018, and studied a wide range of viruses including hepatitis A, hepatitis C, hepatitis E, zika, and yellow fever viruses. He will be dearly missed in the Ploss Lab, but we are very excited for him to embark on this new stage in his career. Qiang, thank you for all your contributions, and we wish you all the best!
