We were pleased to host Dr. Harel Dahari as a visiting speaker this past Tuesday, July 10th. Harel uses theoretical modelling to study viral-host kinetics at the Loyola University Department of Medicine in Chicago, and has published work on hepatitis C and delta viruses. Harel gave a talk titled “How to eliminate hepatitis C in people who inject drugs?” where we learned about his exciting HepCEP project to model the hepatitis C virus epidemic among injection drug users in Chicago.
