Favorite science class
Biochemistry with Professor Hughson. “The class was very well-taught by a professor who cares a lot about teaching, and it has laid a strong foundation for me to further develop my interests in Molecular Biology!”

Previous lab experience
This is Celeste’s first basic science lab – we are excited to introduce you the wonderful world of molecular biology research, Celeste!

Favorite science class
MOL459: Viruses with Professor Enquist. “His class made an intimidating subject much more approachable, while emphasizing the importance of viruses to our understanding of science and medicine. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to join a virology lab for my independent work, which led me to the Ploss lab!”

Leslie and Celeste, we look forward to working with you over the next few years!
